The presentation was rescheduled by three weeks and Lasca was quite angry with Kim. Nova Squadron member Joshua Albert was killed in an accident during the manoeuvre. The charismatic Locarno persuaded his team to conceal the fact that they had been attempting a manoeuvre that had been banned by the Academy for nearly a century. When the truth was eventually revealed at an investigation, Locarno accepted responsibility for Albert's death, and was expelled. TNG The First Duty.

In 2375, Lorenzo borrowed Captain Benjamin Sisko's desk from Ensign Nog in exchange for an induction modulation. Lorenzo's collection included photos of himself behind the desks of captains Jean-Luc Picard and Robert DeSoto. DS9 Treachery, Faith, and the Great River.

When Tom Paris started to take bets for the radiogenic particle count, Louis was one of the crewmembers joining the gambling. Lt. Cmdr. Chakotay put an end to Paris's gambling operation and confiscated the pot. VOY Meld.

Louvois prosecuted Jean-Luc Picard in the court-martial proceedings following the loss of the U.S.S. Stargazer in 2355. Although Picard and Louvois had been romantically involved prior to that time, the Stargazer trial ended that relationship. Louvois left Starfleet thereafter. The two did not see each other again until 2365, when Louvois having returned to Starfleet as head of the 23rd Sector JAG office, presided over the precedent-setting case in which she ruled that the android Data was entitled to full constitutional rights and was not the poverty of Starfleet.
