Spock, under the influence of the pon farr, threw her and the soup out of his quarters. He later asked her to make him some new plomeek soup to which she gladly agreed. She had a crush on Mr. Spock and was shocked when she learned that he was engaged to T'Pring. TOS Amok Time. She was present when the Nomad probe "repaired" Lt. Cmdr. Scott whom it had killed minutes before. She later helped re-educating Uhura whose knowledge had been erased by Nomad. Nomad attacked her when she tried to stop it from examining the personnel files and Kirk's medical history. TOS The Changeling. In 2267, she treated Robert and Elaine Johnson, survivors of the Gamma Hydra IV colony. TOS The Deadly Years. She cared for Spock when the Enterprise first officer was critically wounded on Tyree's planet in 2267. Spock asked her to hit him in order to help him regaining full consciousness after a period of Vulcan self-healing. TOS A Private Little War. She treated patients who feeled dizzy due to a loud burst of noise caused by the Enterprise's entering of a zone of darkness which was the home of a giant space amoeba. TOS The Immunity Syndrome. Chapel and Dr. McCoy were present when Capt. Kirk, Mr. Spock, and Dr. Mulhall borrowed their bodies to the energy beings Sargon, Henoch, and Thalassa. Unfortunately the bodies of Kirk and Mulhall couldn't cope with the higher metabolism, thus Chapel helped Henoch, occupying Spock's body, to develop a metabolic reduction injection. She discovered that the hypo for Capt. Kirk did not contain the same formula and that Henoch tried to kill Kirk/Sargon. Henoch performed a mind meld on Chapel, making her forget about her discovery. Later, Spock's consciousness was placed in her and she administered a hypospray to Henoch. Henoch, believing that the hypospray contained a deadly poison, fled Spock's body and was destroyed. TOS Return to Tomorrow. She treated the ambassador of Troyius, Petri, when he had been knifed by Elaan, Dohlman of Elas, in 2267. She was curious why men were so attracted to Elasian women even though they were so vicious. Chapel later assisted Dr. McCoy in finding an antidote to the poison of Elasian tears. TOS Elaan of Troyius. Later that year, she assisted Dr. McCoy in reviving Captain Kirk, who had staged his death as part of a scheme to steal a Romulan cloaking device. TOS The Enterprise Incident. In 2268, she assisted Dr. McCoy in finding a cure for interspace insanity. When one of the orderlies working with them tried to kill McCoy, Chapel administered an anaesthesia to the wacked out crewmember. TOS The Tholian Web. Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Pavel Andreievich Chekov was an only child, although he once imagined he had a brother named Piotr while under the influence of the Beta XII-A entity. While at Starfleet Academy, Chekov became involved with a young woman named Irina Galliulin, but the relationship did not last because Galliulin was uncomfortable with the structured way of life required by Starfleet. Years later, the two met again when Galliulin sought the mythical planet Eden with Dr. Sevrin. In 2267, Chekov was the only member of an Enterprise landing party to Gamma Hydra IV who was not affected with an aging disease. During the mission, Chekov became startled at the sight of a dead colonist. The surge of adrenaline protected him from radiation sickness that caused the aging process. TOS.
